PART 1- “IN ALL THINGS GIVE THANKS”
I cannot recall ever thanking God for the little things that we take for granted. Like being in my right mind, being able to walk, talk, eat without help, being able to drive, use a computer, brush my teeth or any of the basic things that make us human. As I get older and see friends pass away from various illnesses, I am thankful for my health. Thank you, Pastor Jim, for reminding me that I cannot do anything on my own. Without God I am nothing. Wow! You shook us up good with Part1, but you really spanked us good with Part 2. You gave me so much good food for thought that all I can say is Hallelujah! Thanking God when you are at your lowest and going through extreme trials is tough. You are right though we learn so much after the trial is over. I thank God that I am not what I used to be for sure! You have done it again Pastor! Thanks for spanking me with your word, I needed it! I have no choice but to pray a different prayer now that I know better! You have blessed me with your wisdom, and you have thoroughly nourished my soul! "How Do We Rob GOD?"
Oh my goodness! Pastor Jim you always help me to look deeper into the scriptures. I have never thought about the church giving 10% for tithes before. It makes perfect sense to me. Of course the church should give 10%, instead of only it's  members. Indeed, we will be judged for following HIS commands and not following HIS commands. Thank you so much for knowing just what to say and for the blessing. God  bless you and keep you safe.

Pastor James is excellent at reminding us that everything we need in this life can be found in the scriptures, including how to pray. I have found my quiet place to pray and to make sure that I am praying a perfect prayer, I recite the prayer Jesus taught to his disciples, "The Lord's Prayer." Thank you Pastor James for helping me to improve my prayers. Amen.
